Elijah received some great new toys for his birthday. These pics are of him trying them out last month (June). Makaila loved being able to play with some new stuff, too. She wanted to show brother how everything worked.

Elijah's 1st Birthday Party

Elijah's party was sooo FUN! Most of his favorite people including Grandpa & Grandma, Uncle Kevin, Grandma Kay, Grandma Beth & Bill, Papa & Grammy, Uncle Leo, Auntie Rachel, & Vanson (all the way from Houston), and Grandma Anna came to celebrate him turning one. Elijah played with his uncles on the playset, visited with family, opened presents, and enjoyed delicious monkey cupcakes (Curious George theme).

My Gym

In June we started the kids in a place called
My Gym. Makaila is enrolled in a class for 3.5-4.5 year olds. She is learning warm-up exercises, relay games, gymnastics, and some fine-motor skill activities. The class is good at providing her with some structure and enforcing following directions. She loves meeting new friends! Her class, Mighty Mites, is on Thursday, and then on Friday both of the kids get to enjoy free play in the gym. Elijah loves the ball pit:)
